3D PRINTING
3D PRINTING IS AN UPCOMING MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY WHICH STOOD UNIQUE FROM OTHER TECHNOLOGIES BY CHANGING THE MASS PRODUCTION INTO MASS CUSTOMIZATION. THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF 3D PRINTING SUCH AS FDM/FFF, SLA, LASER SINTERING, ETC. MFA 3D SOLUTIONS CURRENTLY DEAL WITH FDM TECHNOLOGY FOR 3D PRINTING.
WHY FDM ?
FDM Technology works with specialized 3D printers and production-grade thermoplastics to build strong, durable and dimensionally stable parts with the best accuracy and repeatability of any 3D printing technology. Mr.Scott Crump invented FDM Technology more than 20 years ago. FDM technology is nothing but depositing thin layers of material one over the other in a controlled dimension to form a complete part.
Benefits of FDM:
-
The technology is clean, simple-to-use and office-friendly.
-
Supported production-grade thermoplastics are mechanically and environmentally stable.
-
Complex geometries and cavities that would otherwise be problematic become practical with FDM technology.
-
Inner structure within the part can be controlled and weight management is possible.
